so all the women were "smarter" and faithful and all the husbands cheat? I am seeing a trend in the series. It's impossible for me me to relate with your heroine. staying 'faithful' it's not real, women are not like that. Better off staying single and separating than the humiliated ever after you have made for them i say
Hi Shabz, I hear you -- but you do need to take historical cultural differences into account. it was actually dangerous for a married woman to be unfaithful in the 1700s. Also, I have to say that I get tons of negative mail when one of my heroines is unfaithful. that's just a fact about modern readers. I hope you're well ~ best, E
