Small world...Dean Koontz was the writer who early in my career (around 1990) called me up (I'd sent him a letter asking for advice) and gave me my first agent. Really. he and his wife were so nice on the phone. I kept the agent for a couple books and them she dumped me, ha, ha. But these days I self-publish (my last 6 books) and am SO MUCH HAPPIER especially with my inflated income. So much better than dealing with the greedy, crooked publishers; which I did for almost 30 long years. Ha, ha. Have a great Halloween! warmly, Kathryn
