I agree. There are infinite Jason’s, not just the 100+ that made it to the world Jason2 took over. There are so many of them in other worlds, it just wasn’t part of “our” Jason’s story and therefore not mentioned.
I had the same thought about multiple dead Jasons showing up everywhere!
