Vegard Good that you’re OK, and that you only bruised your rips. I hear broken rips are a b***h to heal.

I have had the same problem when it comes to writing. (I’ve been working on different books for about ten years. Nothing published. Might never be. I just like writing.) It’s not my place to give advice on writing, but I’m going to anyway because this is the internet, and why not. If it helps it helps.

Usually when I’m obsessing over some other story that I want to write it’s often about one scene, or a story event. When I figure that out I construct a story around it in the most skeletal form I can manage and write the first draft of the scene. After that I try putting it aside. If I still can’t focus than I just switch stories for a while. Can be a long while. Might be the reason why I have trouble finishing anything.

I have run into the difficulties of separating fictional characters, but don’t have a solution. I’m considering making a basic sketch of them so I have a visual representation that I can link a none verbal concept to. Like looking at a picture of an old friend and knowing exactly what he is like without having to put it into words.

Anyways. That was some advice you didn’t ask for and probably didn’t need. Looking forward to the next book. And whatever else your writing. Hope you can breathe fine soon.

Leszek Cyfer Ouch, I hope you get all right soon.
I'm happy to hear you work on the book 5 as I'm somewhat obsessive on the series - I've discovered it a month ago and already read 3 times all the cycle.
So you might imagine that I look forward to the next book in series.
I'm not so hot about the Mirasci book - mainly because of the loose threads that I want to see wrapped up - like finding the Orumeck's Keep, what is the meaning of the Merkize clue with triangles (which I solved by the way ;) ), etc. and of course the main plot with AI's. Will Leah save Meredith? ;)
So, to wrap it up, - here's another reader waiting for continuation of Leah's journey :)
