Roxann Totally agree. I still don't understand it. Is she supposed to be schizophrenic as well?

Persephony Lillianna I don't think it was a hallucination. Caroline was very much real to the main character, a person created to help her through hard times and give her courage. And even though Caroline isn't needed at the end of the book, I feel that like anyone's best friends, Caroline will always be there for the main character. It is a beautiful friendship and an interesting twist.

Aline Roxann, she wasn't schizophrenic... you know how children create imaginary friends in their heads? That's what she did and Sue said, that's not common in OCD but unique to Sam (her personal copying mechanism)...

Charlie Herrin Totally agree. It didn't relate to OCD at all, and made it feel like the author just wanted more drama because OCD wasn't "crazy" enough. I think that was hurtful to those with OCD as well as those who suffer from hallucinations. Not to mention her therapist barely batted an eyelash about her hallucinating Caroline...
