Yay!! So glad to hear all this. I just pre-ordered Song of the Sandman through your publisher!
Hmm... It seems like this has been on 'pre order' for over a year. Is it ever going to actually come out?
Also, most books that are the start of a series dont end so abruptly. I was NOT happy with how you ended God in the Shed. I loved it up until the last few pages where it seemed like you got bored or something and just quit. There was no actual ending. Have you never read an actual series before? Do you not realize that you CAN actually END a book, well and tie things up? You can do those things AND leave enough open to invite a second book. I will not be reading this second one, if it ever even comes out. You tricked us in to buying an unfinished book. Totally not cool.
Unfortunately, I don't have any control over when Song of the Sandman was put on pre-order. This is between my publisher and the distributors. All I know is that it went to pre-order almost immediately after the book went into production, which is too soon if you ask me.
I don't want to give a release date for the moment, mostly because the one I have isn't chiseled in stone quite yet. The moment I do have a solid date, believe me, I will make a lot of noise about it.
If you did pre-order already, don't worry, the book is doming out.
