I really like the Laundry things. Keep going. :D
I really appreciate how the series is evolving by shifting protagonist, a clever thing to prevent falling into same repetitive trap as [insert other long urban fantasy series].
Will a broken condom save the world? Tune in this October to find out! (can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!)
Personally I would *love* to have stories, Novels/Novelettes/short stories, set in some of the other eras.
I devoured The Delirium Brief in about two or three days...
I answered this question a year ago. Since then, things have Changed.
Firstly, there's a new book coming out in late 2020—DEAD LIES DREAMING—which wasn't originally part of the Laundry Files but is set in the same universe. Without spoilers, I can say that it's the start of a new series in the world of the New Management, the main difference being it's not about the civil service agency protecting us from Lovecraftian horrors, but about what the civilians are doing behind their backs.
Secondly, rather than a three-book ending to the Laundry Files, there are going to be two final books, alternating with DEAD LIES DREAMING and its own sequels in the as-yet-nameless spin-off series.
Basically, I wrote THE ATROCITY ARCHIVE in 1999-2000; times have changed a lot since then and I felt the need to more or less do a full-scale series reboot, *but* I want to finish Bob and friends' story so as not to leave you hanging.
