Yellow Yes, I agree that Jo feeling so "lonely" after declaring independence and not wanting to marry was strange. And her romance with the professor seemed so rushed.

Gwen Yes, I agree with Denise. I didn't like that Jo seems to regret her independent spirit in the end. She seems too defeated to me, even though she states she is happy with the outcome.

Amanda I also wish that they had left it. LMA was an amazing author, and I often wonder what this book would have been like if she had been able to write what she wanted. I guess that we'll never know. 😁

Andrea Ordóñez What a disservice though. If she really had to marry Jo, why not with Laurie? She has no chemistry with that other man I can't even remember the name of 😂
