Moirad is this a joke response?

message 2: by Margaret (new)

Margaret it better be since that is ridiculous comparison

message 3: by Jane (new)

Jane Some prefer children's fiction, I suppose. It's generally easier to read.

Theresa Kennedy It’s gotta be a joke. 🤣

Judith What??

message 6: by Peacejanz (new)

Peacejanz Much more complex than Lemony Snicket - about the mystery of why people do secret things to help the world and abandon their children, families, other lives. It is original but never amusing. This book gets to the depths of the sacrifice people sometimes make and to painful truth long after the fact. It is much better than THe English Patient.

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude This answer from Lorene is no more ridiculous than the original questions was!

Lorene Shyba I just read the comments. Doesn't anyone else see the comparison. Siblings, adventures, only Lemony is better writing. Warlight, to me, was a colossal disappointment.

Linda C I thought she was being snarky. This was a serious response? Seriously?
