The "something human" she hit on is how unstable a human can be yet get away with it. It's sickening.
No, the "something human" is that authors are actually, in fact, people, and while you and I wouldn't react this way, SOME people might get a little bent out of shape by being continuously targeted and provoked. If the reviewer singled out Hale for abuse, thinking she could hide behind online anonymity, then personally I think she got what she deserved. Besides, was it so bad??? A few phone calls?? Big f-in deal.
Andrew Lloyd, if you would bother to check into it you would see that Blythe did nothing wrong. And showing up to someones house is not a few phone calls. Why don't you read up on what Ms. Hale actually did BEFORE you start spouting big effin deal. She seems to be a bit unstable, and with being in a well connected family she can afford to get help for her obvious problem. No one said she wasn't human, just that it isn't right to get someone's address under false pretenses to stalk them. If you are that sensitive about your work, don't publish it, or find an author's support group to help through the feelings. Not stalk her over a blasted review.
Well, "Andrew" with the brand-spakin' new profile, you've clearly never been stalked. These is no evidence to the reviewer doing anything but writing a negative review. She didn't "provoke" anyone. We're not like that. We simply give an honest opinion of what books are good and bad. Hale is unstable, has a documented history of stalking and assault, and is bragging about her felonious crimes. So while you sit there and victim blame, you might was to at least get your facts straight. But since your profile is so shiny new....I suspect you're simply here to troll.
"SOME people might get a little bent out of shape by being continuously targeted and provoked." <--- Which Hale did, and Blythe most CERTAINLY did not. Your view of this situation suggests that you failed to investigate Blythe's supposed crime. It was a simple review, nothing more. I hope that you're not an investigative journalist with such low standards.
