the essay you wrote was after the terrorist attack in paris where i live, the religion question is asked every day in the french media and islamophobia is basically an every day reality there. reading your essay after i almost lost one of my best friends in the bataclan attack was a violent thing to do. i wouldn't say i'm angry, i'm not religious at all actually, it's just that close people to me are discriminated in their every day lives by politics that use rhetorics such as yours to deny them their humanity and freedom of practicing their religion. i don't see the anger in my question (which isn't exactly a question but a manifestation of my disappointment as a reader)
