Liz Laurin Are you tlking about A**** and B****? Because thats how I felt!

message 2: by Dana (new)

Dana Cameron Exactly. Kind of felt like the hurtful American dub treatment of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune—"Cousins" indeed.

message 3: by Dana (new)

Dana Cameron I will say otherwise the book is very good and I still recommend it!

Liz Laurin I'm really hoping the author.kust decided to save that exploration for further books. Amari is pretty guarded and indeed heartbroken either way. Maybe it will come out later?

message 5: by Anna (new)

Anna i didn't really get the sense that they were just friends; i'm not sure if A**** ever specifically said "friend?" in fact, from the beginning i got some definite romantic overtones in there.

message 6: by Lorena (new)

Lorena I'm so glad im not the only one who thought that! I hope that maybe its explore in next book(s).

message 7: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I was waiting and expecting this to be revealed at several different points...it will be interesting to see where that goes in the future.

Antonia E Iacampo I kind of got that vibe too, but was hoping against it. The power dynamic between a princess and a slave doesn't sit well with me.

message 9: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Agreed! I definitely got that vibe from the beginning, but then she seemed to get a thing for T...so I'm hoping she acknowledges this dynamic in the future.

Josh I agree an actual relationship would have been problematic but her feelings for her felt like they were more and I wish that would have been presented ou can be in love with someone you don't have a romantic relationship with and the actual straight romance written for her did feel like it actually added anything.
