jkkflff exactly i feel pretty much the same way abt zoya she's fine but i honestly feel like nik deserves better he's been done so dirty in the series...
I kinda feel the opposite. Nikolai needs a strong and powerful figure beside him who can remind him he is king but also instill humility in him. Plus, I think it would bore him if he had a Genya-like so. He likes taking risks and Zoya is worth taking risk for.
Ravaka needs a Grisha Queen, and Zoya is the best candidate. Anyone else will be a pushover and are not good fighters.
ADDENDUM: After actually *Reading* King of Scars, I don't get their romantic attraction. I liked Zoya more after reading but it feels a little too forced, and I don't see how they would fit together. IMO they both need someone different than each other. Both of them are suns. That's glaring.
It's like putting too Alphas or Queen Bees in the same room
