Linda Cosari In the end at the beach Amber refrains from smoothing Paul's collar. When she says he doesn't love her and she suspects all the time he is with Claire that she believes it is Claire he loves. They celebrate with champagne for an anniversary that is not a wedding anniversary. I think she is faking Claire's personality so she receives Paul's love. So maybe she refrains from the ocd action of smoothing his collar. In the end the bracelet lets her know she didn't kill Claire's personality. I don't know. I usually figure things out but this one has me stumped. I guess that is why I'm so addicted to finding the author's truth of the story!

Gabri There are too many things to be explained if Edward doesn't exist (which is not impossible since I think this book is more like "I Always Lie") but it would explain why Paul never mentions seeing the rape on camera or the pictures on her phone when he took it home to look for Jo in her contact list.

Marti Young The police were looking for Edward though. And they had the tape of him assaulting her. Plus, they had an address to go to and reported back on their findings.

Csilla I have a theory: I think, Edward called her Amber and not Taylor, is because the author didn't want us to find out yet that the diary belongs to Claire. And by attributing anything else to this tiny detail, you put way too much trust in the author's capabilities.
