The ending seemed abrupt to me. It left me questioning everything I read. Maybe I'm just not that bright but I am struggling to figure out who was real and who was not. Was Claire a real person? I get that Amber was real but who was really the crazy/sick one? I have so many questions I guess I need to just forget I ever read this book!
Haha, I agree! The ending was extremely abrupt and felt like a failed attempt at a dramatic/horror ending. Claire was very much real yes, and considering how she was killed I don't think she was responsible for the bracelet in the end. In my honest opinion, I think they were both crazy. They were two peas in a pod after all. Amber was more of a long con with her own manipulative behavior while Clair was definitely more in your face with the psychotic behavior.
If you have any, feel free to ask. But I can understand it not being for everyone with how much it throws at you towards the third act.
