Karen I would never say that- I woukd suggest guidance in reading it, but I wouldn't tell a 16 year okd the couldn't read it. If it were my daughter or son who wanted to read it, I would offer guidance but also offer my opinion, as I think the novel is a better experience for an adult. I do understand that there are mature advanced readers.

ᯓ★raquel Yeah, I know it. But some people overreacted and told me "you can't read it", that's why I told this. Of course, I respect every opinion here

ᯓ★raquel I think at 16 people should be more open-minded and mature and understand the life isn't pink and easy

Richa I agree Rachel. It is quite the right age to form your judgments... So it is appropriate and should be allowed.

Greg Rachel, if my parents had ever said to me, "you can't read this," I'd have read it instantly, all night, undercover. But they let me read anything and everything. And that has made a huge difference, has provided to me the basis for huge successes, in my life.

Kelly Tsunami seems you are the one lacking maturity with your sarcastic response.

Patricia Puckett I am 13 and am about 2/3 through the book and I really like it!
