I believe this is the case. I'm not quite through the book (listening on Audible - fantastic narration, btw!), but I'm currently at a part where Rill is remembering about "visiting the Arcadia" many times in her dreams and daydreams. I believe when she connected with Judy, she and the other sisters shared many stories about how their life was there as a way to connect them all together. Such a great book!
Judy had dementia, so she was probably “thinking” she’d been in the Arcadia from just hearing all the stories about it from her sisters and relating bits and pieces of those.
