Sorry, I know it has been three years since you left this comment, but I am so intrigued I have to ask:
Where did you read or hear that IT came from the Prim? Ditto for Christine? (admittedly, Christine is one of Kings few books I didn't enjoy enough to finish, so it may say in the book).
