That would kind of ruin Ishiguro's whole point though, because he's pointing out that we're far more like these characters than we wish to believe.
Except tommy was known for his fits of rage? So either that theory doesnt pan out or hes an anomaly but im pretty sure thats not true, because you also hear ruth yelling and screaming in a fit of rage after not finding her clone twin in town so neither of them were modified not to have anger
