This just inspired me to finish writing my story! It's called "The Grand Cello" :)
In German, in a similar expression to what you would use to wish someone good luck, you can wish them success - I don't know of a similar thing in English though!
I know some people HATE "good luck" as they don't believe in luck... I can't speak for everyone but I use the term, not because I believe in luck because "I wish you well" sounds a bit formal or something and "I hope that you don't get writer's block and not too many rejections and that you get published and are very successful" is kind of a bit long...
Oh good gosh, I am so borrowing that... Although we don't have bears naturally so maybe "Don't get eaten by koalas"?
I would say don't get eaten by coyotes.
Seriously they used to hang out in our backyard; my mom touched one once!
