Audra I thought the same thing although I think the circumstances and short duration of her marriage to Tony would have allowed her to avoid divorce and get an annulment. But in her mind, I'm guessing, that would be just as disgraceful. I also felt like part of her decision was based on not wanting to disappoint Father Flood.

Josephine Briggs After the way Jim treated her before she moved to America I wondered why she wanted anything to do with him. He was cold and rude, when she returned to visit her mother, his manner had changed. He wanted her, I don't know why she wanted him. I was surprised at the way she treated him, like she could consider him. I think no. Before she left for America she was nothing to him.
