Kayda Williams A trigger warning is something given to people in vunerable situations resulting from past or present trauma. Like rape, child abuse, suicide etc.
The reason being, past experiences can greatly upset a person when they come across it in a book/movie.
I found these scenes hard, but kept reading.
But I also recently binned a book mid-read due to a rape scene I wasn't prepared for.
But you are an amazing writer, <3

Trystan honestly, the only place I've seen trigger warnings is on fan fiction.

Maria V. Snyder Thanks for the explanation Kayda - that makes sense! I've had some younger readers - like 9 and 10 year olds, who emailed me and said they just skip over the "bad" parts. I never ever expected 9 and 10 year olds to read my books! But some are just reading well above their grade level.
