Just finished tonight! I agree, a series would be awesome! Same with Gentleman in Moscow! So loved them!
Just finished this masterpiece! Any news? LOVED some of the surprises. Laughed out loud.. hint anne, key...hee hee
We are fortunate to have this mini-series option. In the past, the best we could hope for often was a film adaptation that didn't make us cringe. Looking forward to the G in M series as well! But the film in my head, based closely on the book, will likely be best. ;)
I feel like a kiddo just before Christmas...how many days until the release of The Lincoln Highway??! The countdown has begun & I'm hoping for no delays! I'm sure you hear it all the time, sir, but I'm a huge fan-I've read A Gentleman in Moscow at least 4 times, and your writing style pulls the reader in in such a way that one feels that they're actually witnessing the events taking place. Fingers crossed that any potential movie deals don't pull a John Irving on your work & bastardize it for the sake of the almighty dollar.
All good wishes for great success with the new book, from a fellow bibliophile & Bostonian (seriously-not a M*asshole or weirdo...just a fan of great literature!)
I can't wait! I actually love Rules of Civility more than A Gentleman in Moscow (shocking my friends), but I love the 1930s and I'm a fan of Washington's Rules of Civility, which I keep by my bedside. Katey reminds me of Dorothy Parker.
Studios tend to buy up the movie rights to best sellers and sit on them. At least now we have the Gentleman in Moscow minseries.
