SPAMMING is Wrong !! People are not being "cold or self-entitled" by rejecting his SPAM email.......No one has the right to send spam emails at all, but to send them and expect people to be happy about it is crazy, he is the one who is being "self-entitled" as you called it........He is looking for free advertising, and sending spam emails is not the professional or ethical way to market your product. I'm tired of receiving repeat emails from him and have reported him to Goodreads and hope they ban him
If you delete the account you're using to contact people, and are contacting 11 yr olds & claiming that "I saw that you liked reading thrillers every now and then.", then you clearly are a spammer. This is not how legitimate people promote their material
Deleting the account is the major indicator that THIS IS SPAM. *sigh*
Just because an author wrote a book doesn’t mean anyone’s obligated to read it. If he can’t get a contract with a legit publisher who will do appropriate promo for him, that’s just too bad. No one has to put up with this terrible spam from mediocre authors.
Apparently Goodreads deletes the authors account, not the author himself.
