Sorry, I really needed to comment on this. No, it's not a bad book, in fact, I really loved it, and according to the rating, many other people loved it too. I'm not trying to change you're opinion or anything, because maybe you just don't like these types of books. Even though these are one of those, in your opinion, "typical cliche love triangle". If you read the rest of the series, you'll be baffled of how Kiera really captured what it's like to fall in love and being torn between two guys, because the romance books I have read weren't as good in showing how difficult it is to choose between two boys. The frustration was real, the sadness was real, everything was real.
Actually, as I was reading it, I could not predict what was coming next. I have also read the next four books as well (they're amazing!) and as you get further along within the series it really gets better.

Its a good book, and no. it's not all about love, it has other aspects to it, like class and authority,
