That’s a really awesome response and I agree. Writing gives its own fulfillment. I write because that’s the story playing in my head and I need to read it. If I can share it with others then awesome, but even if I can’t, the story still begs to be told :)

Don't wait for them. Sit down with whatever you use to make notes and just start jotting down situations. "Two men in a tunnel. One has a knife." "At a restaurant a woman spots a man she swore never to get near again." Whatever. Inspiration requires the mindset that you are ready and a conduit and the damn ideas will come flowing down into your writing hands.
