Hi Jeanne - I reshelved it to read at another time. I started A Little Life and quit on it, then picked it up again and it is one of the best books I've ever read, still stays with me to this day. I'm thinking the same thing may happen with this one from all the comments.
I have to say I stuck w this book Bc it’s my bkclub pick and I’ don’t like to abandon books.. I don’t think it’s a book I would’ve chosen. It does get better, but it’s not as great as the reviews. Not a page turner, and just too much boring non essential trivia.
