Morgan's father is never named in the book and is not a character in it.
Emily was raped, presumably by Everett (Arnie Richardson's cousin) as he vowed revenge for the cemetery incident.
Yes I thought that. But not much has been said of Everett.
Elizabeth had said they didn’t want to pursue an investigation involving Everett as she didn't think Emily would survive it. So, Everett was only mentioned in that context.
