Thanks to everyone for taking the time to respond to my question! Cassandra Clare actually responded on her Q&A on her website! (I was very thrilled). And she did verify that Clary and Simon on the cover of City of Fallen Angels and Sebastian/Jonathon on City of Glass. And thanks Zixi for providing that link!
