Anna I read the hard cover book and it doesn't move any faster in written form. I really liked Carrie, but I couldn't get in to Bag of Bones.

Anna I'll have to try one of his other books if I could ever find some time.

Roger The Stand has many pages, but you won't be able to put it down too long before having to pick it up again. The Shining is another good one, as well as The Dead Zone. You may want to give one of those a try. :0)

Steve McGrath I just zipped through Bag of Bones in under two days. It did a number on me from literally depriving myself of sleep as a result. Personally, I have never been able to immerse myself properly through audio books. Hopefully the written version will draw you in deeper!

Roger I have read The Stand, The Shining and The Dead Zone, as well as 11/22/63, Salem's Lot and several others. I really enjoyed all of these. I don't know what it was about BOB. Maybe I will read it with my eyes and see how that goes. Thanks for the comments.
