Sarah Great, thank you! :)

message 2: by Cimone (new)

Cimone Watson Oh no, you had to edit out half of a death? (I'm kidding.) ;)

message 3: by Cimone (new)

Cimone Watson Well, I should say "add half of a death".

message 4: by Susan (new)

Susan So we get MORE murder for our money! Perfect!

A_Reader That extra 1/2 deaths is what caught my eye and inspired me to read the synopsis. I just added your book to my reading list!

Kevin Was the clash with The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo?

message 7: by Karrie (new)

Karrie Thanks--was trying to order for my library and was encountering the same issue....the 1/2 it is! 978-1492657965

Theo Annoyingly Goodreads seems to be defaulting to the US version. If I type in 'The Seven Deaths of Evelyn...' the only one that comes up is the US option. Bit weird.

Edward From what I understand, the change of title was to avoid confusion with "The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo." If you read the book, you will understand what the "half" death is. You will also discover that the title doesn't mean what you think.

message 10: by Theo (new)

Theo Sure, it is. I just mean that it shouldn't default to that title really as it's a British book with an original title. It's like if Goodreads defaulted to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone instead of Philosopher's Stone! :)

Catheryn Evans The same question brought me here too!

message 12: by George (new)

George Theo: It defaults to the more popular item. And since there are more Yanks than Brits ...

Jens Raab "Don't worry, you're getting exactly the same amount of murder for your money, though." - That line made me laugh out loud. If this is indicative of the tone of the book, I'm sold.

I'm lying. I already have the book on my TBR pile!
