Hi Jasmine, I really liked your thoughts on having multiple WIPs and how designing a cover can give you a new perspective on a story. Since *The Spacer* is part of a series, I’m curious—how much of the larger series did you have planned when you first started writing the book? I’m a book marketer who helps authors with websites, social media presence, and promotional ad videos.
When I started The Spacer, I had most of the series outlined and several first drafts already written in various percentages.
That’s impressive, you already had so much of the series taking shape before *The Spacer* was fully developed. Did having those other drafts and the larger story outlined make writing the first book easier, or did the characters end up taking the story in a different direction than you originally planned?
