You got me. I conflated the God Engines and Ghost Brigades. As for Scalia, it was the damn autocorrect!

Pity that Justice Scalia didn't try his hand at fiction....
Maybe the book itself is a conflation of the two! ;) Looking forward to reading it.
None the less, it would seem that there had been some confusion...
