Brock Love Yeah, this is exactly how I felt. I don't normally stay up late reading a novel in one night, but I did with this one. The mystery that's presented at the beginning kept me hooked in the entire length of the book.

Omar I found the whole world fascinating. The whole idea of Area X and the Southern Reach was exciting. They mystery was exciting. Aside from the excitement, I enjoyed the Biologists stream of consciousness more. Her thoughts on the environment around her, her flashbacks, etc...

L I am bored out of my mind with this one. Trying to find the will to carry on and came here for inspiration to do so. Instead, all that's happened is Amy Brown has made me doubt whether I actually want to bother reading House of Leaves or not.

Different strokes I guess.

Brock Love If this is boring for you, I definitely don’t recommend House of Leaves.

Rick It was enough to keep me going through the entire trilogy. But at the end I was a bit disappointed; there are still some things unfinished or unexplained. Hopefully he will write a fourth book to finish up properly, and really he could easily keep going on this for quite a while if he so chooses.
