If you are intrigued by the Sleeping Beauties theme you may want to check out The White Plague by Frank Herbert. Less horror and far more science fiction dystopia but it's the same theme.

I pre-ordered Sleeping Beauties and it is getting consumed as soon as I am finished with A Tale of Two Cities. It is taking great will power to finish Dickens right now.
