Seconded. I had the hardcover book on my shelf my whole childhood and could never get into it, but reading the ebook as an adult I found it really gripping.

Thanks for this, I saw another good idea - quite 'old school' as they say, which I guess must mean me now ... a small 'flip notebook, movable as the pages progress, with a pencil attached, ready to jot down the unknowns and carry on. ~

ah ha. I have been reading Dooty as a ladies name, makes much more sense now.
