Wasn't Severin in the glass coffin when Jack was born? Ben and Hazel's mother paid for her college education with a painting of The Horned Prince meaning he couldn't be Jack's father even if her knew his mother once....
It wasn't Severin. As Marie-Sharrane stated, he was in the glass coffins when Jack was born.
