Sunanda Kesavadas Amish could have done a complete re-imagining of the Ramayana and would have had the freedom to write as he pleased. This whole series feels like compulsion from the publisher that the author rather than Amish's personal interest. The Ramayana is a fictional representation of events of a certain time. Any modern author can rewrite it as they want. It takes imagination and courage - but both Amish and the publisher decided to play it safe.

Surender Negi i dont think so. Amish has took liberarty as he want. His soul purpose was focused on that "Vishnu must be chosen on action not by authorites"Thats what maryada pusotam means. Moreover Sita honest love for ram after Malayputras planed to give him exile has change everything in second book
