He can look over Patrick's shoulder during revisions. He'll read it sooner than the rest of us! But my condolences on his loss. He wouldn't have asked you to become angry about a publishing date. Rothfuss could die any day, as could any of us.
While it is sad that your father passed. Which my mother did less then a month ago. That was a dick thing to say wasn't it. Not the authors fault that your father died between releases, is it? What is true, is that the author gave your father yet another happy time in his life.
