The text on the back cover of part two goes like this (warning: bad translation):
"Have you seen a town fall? Our did. A young man did something terrible and we got lost. This is the story of what happened afterwards, from Midsummer to Christmas Eve. The story is about an ice rink (hockey hall?) and all the hearts which are beating for the game, it's about people and hockey and how they take turns in carrying each other's burdens. It's about falling and getting up again. It's about us, we who dream and fight. Some are going to fall in love, some are going to be crushed. We are going to have the best and the worst days of our lives. This town is going to cheer, but it is also going to burn. There is going to be a terrible crash. A car is going to drive too fast through the night. We will say that it is an accident, but that will be a lie. Accidents happen by accident, but this one we will know that we would have been able to stop. This one will be someone's fault. People we love are going to die. We are going to bury our children under our most beautiful trees. These are the tales of Beartown, the darkest and the brightest. All the tales we have."
I didn't know it was one of a trilogy. I can't wait.

When Beartown first was published the back cover text was a bit more vague and called it the first book in a series, third paragraph in this link: http://www.piratforlaget.se/bocker/bj...

Now I have read Beartown part two. Great book, by the way. The names of the two professionals are revealed. You will be surprised. I guess Backman saves the dad and the dead one until part three.

Probably around the same time of year as this one so I'm guessing next April-May.

Benjamin is the one that dies. David goes to the cemetery and places a puck on a gravestone. The puck says, “Still the bravest bastard I know” ( pg 399). Earlier you hear David tell Benjamin this many times.
In this story, nothing is what it seems to be at first glance. I’ll say no more.
