Greg Bonnie, I'm more on your side of the fence on this book. I appreciated that it unique in style. But it is style over content.

Bonnie I flipped thru it & didn't see any Real Content! Even the narrative on some pages gave names but not Who they were.... Weird book!! Went back to Library!

Dolores I have picked this book up and set it down so many times and I can't get into it. Maybe if I stayed with it, it would be more enjoyable. I read 3 other books since starting this one.

Bonnie Sometimes it's best to quit & go on to something enjoyable, Especially when it comes to books!!

Tom I think this is one book that absolutely benefits from audio and visual sources. You're only getting part of it by going by one or the other.

Cathy Vincevic I have always loved older books--from the Victorian Era--and this format is a bit like that. It surprises me that people have such trouble with this method of writing--of reading voices. I think it may have to do with having to slow down and savor.

Victoria I agree with you. It was not an enjoyable reading experience for me. I couldn't finish it. I don't get why people like this book.

Ik I totally agree, Bonnie and Victoria.
