How did I not know that it was the last night huntress book? We aren't going to follow Bones and Cat through their next adventure as parents? I believe I may have to go die to death right now, because that was a shot right through my heart when I just read this.
Katie is Cats daughter? I don't remember when she was introduced in the series?
I could see it being Ian, and it wouldn't be like Twilight, because though he initially wanted to "collect" Katie as he wanted to collect Cat when he first met her, he is not in the family troupe that is taking Katie off to hide her and raise her. Ian really grew through the series, and he's all primed now to be a great romantic hero. I could see a whole series with Katie as the heroine. She's fascinating!
To everyone who wants Ian to shag Katie..... Ew. Let's get this straight. Katie will be raised with Bones as a father and as we all know by now, Bones is in fact Ian's cousin. Katie will minimum see Ian as her cool uncle who likes to poke fun at everyone and makes uncomfortable sexual innuendos about EVERYTHING.
This series is way too good for that Twilight like scenario. Right Jeaniene? Right? ....right?
IMO, I would love to see Ian book, but I think it wont be appropriate to see him shag Katie, Incest and pedophile keep swimming in my head.... yeah technically it doesn't matter cuz Ian maybe wont be around when Katie grow up but still.... >.< and I think it will be Timothy... :P

Hope you do a story for Katie because now I'm curious to see who you have in mind!! I hope it's Juan! For some reason, I feel like he'd bring levity and understanding to Katie's life and hopefully by the time she's grown, he's ready to commit. But maybe it'd be too weird since he knew her when she was a kid? So many options ^.^
