AND the fact that his grandparents loved him fiercely. He illustrates how the constancy of love and support from key people early in life (with all their dysfunctions) can mitigate, certainly not erase, some of the dire outcomes seen in the ACE research.
When he mentions ACEs, I stopped reading and started researching. I started The Body Keeps The Score and now intend to go back to it. Thank you.
