I agree with everything about your answer.
Haha I was actually so disappointed with that twist, that the first time I read this book, I stopped reading completely.
A few months later I picked this book up again and read through the whole trilogy.
I still think it would have been more interesting if Rafe had been the Assassin and Kaden the Prince ... however the trilogy is really good and it's definitely worth sticking with and reading all the way through.
Ok I finished the first book and thought I was crazy!! So she did make it seem like Kaiden was the prince 🤣
im literally reading it right now AND THERES NO WAY RAFE WAS THE PRINCE WHAT. I SWEAR AT ONE POINT THEY SAID HE WAS THE ASSASSIN AND THEY SAID KADEN WAS THE PRINCE
