Lynn I started reading your father's books when I was a preteen and haven't stopped since.. Then someone mentioned you and I downloaded one of your books and I was blown away by your writing.. Thank you for the stories.

Eric "The Fireman" is my favorite of your books, Joe. Hoping that you can write a sequel or even a novella to it. To me it seemed like the book ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger.

Regina Eubanks I just finished this book. I just KNOW there has to be a sequel because the Fireman, who I imagined the entire time as Tom Ellis, left as a freaking phoenix. The foreshadowing and metaphors (or is it symbolism?) in this book direct you to assume that it has to happen. Also, great choice of songs throughout, except when John says he'd rather burn than listen to Hall & Oats, I mean come on. I have to say the best thing about this novel is that Joe Hill wrote believable characters into unbelievable circumstances. Except when Harper hides for hours pregnant without peeing. Every pregnant woman knows she'd have pissed herself in an hour. LoL
