How did you get to the end and not read the first few pages??? They said Val was her husband in the first two pages.
We know who she marries at the very beginning of the book as they talk about Tinker together.
The book is not plot driven anyway. Knowing that she's married to Val at the very beginning in no way spoils the book. She's never going to marry Tinker anyway. That's always been clear.
