Well i read it when i was 11, but i still love it
Even though I thoroughly enjoyed all the books, I agree with your comments about the dresses. I feel like she described them too much, to the point where I was confused and annoyed. I don't understand why everytime Celaena wears something it needs to be described in such detail. As if we would be in awe every time she wears a some "special" dress. We know she is beautiful and we know she looks good in outfits, this knowledge doesn't need to be hammered over and over again.
I thought this too, but I stuck it out and found the character development to be beautiful. The author really developed along with the characters.
