McSteve "The best professors or politicians have always been from the white american community. Why almost no one from the blacks?" Because of centuries of oppression, barring them from education and economic progress. As black Americans have had their treatment improved, they have achieved plenty. Or have you forgotten about President Obama already? Or the number of other black politicians, CEOs, and academics who have made their mark on America?

Speaking as an American, kindly f-ck off and stop using racist American ideas to support your own unjust hierarchy. Seriously, your way of talking about America sounds it could come from the Ku-Klux-Klan. Be wary of taking talking points from a group who would happily lynch a brown-skinned fellow like yourself.

Suraj Chaudhary This answer has many fallacies and it is unfortunate someone whose limitations of knowledge is reflected in his answer is questioning the ability of a man universally revered for his intellect.
The first assumption is that all the best professor are from a certain community, that means there is something heredity that enables white American to be better than others. There is overwhelming evidence and research against this racial assumption. One of the best example being the human genome project, which established there is no difference in the genes of humans.
You can't be more deluded than this that you suggest people to change their caste based on their profession. Come out of your cosy Brahmanical fantasy world. See the reality, it's years of oppression why you see a overwhelming majority of privileged caste and race in any profession.

Dibyanshu Guru According to your answer you mean that god have made differences between people. But for all the caste system lovers I want to give a message that god have not made this differences. We, the people have made this differences because of the false beliefs of our forefathers as well as other people. For any proof you can consult sri math Bhagavad Gita.

Himanshu Rai Varna system is extensively discussed in Dharma-shastra and is based on birth only. Krishna means black because his color was dark but he was not Shudra. The colour based hypothesis doesn't hold true. Even in stories of Ramayan and Mahabharat, caste system is explained through eyes of Karna, and Shambuk.

Ikkhon Chowdhury Umm I don't think you fully read this book. Ambedkar clearly discussed about eugenics and gave his own opinions that try to oppose the idea that caste wasn't really based on the idea that selective breeding of varnas would better help society. He talked of how varna based restrictions like not giving shudras a right to education or defense become detrimental to society. It's agreeable nevertheless that classification or hierarchy is impossible to get rid of even in the modern society. Lol people here thinks color as translation of varna as color of skin.

Debjani I think you may have misunderstood the caste system if you think it is not by birth. At a very early Vedic age, it may have been based on other factors but very soon it crystallized into an eugenic system. Difference between black and white Americans are also based on years of oppression but that is not caste. The examples about marriage do not really prove anything.
