After reading your review, you seem to be on par with Ove in grouchiness.
Yeah - I kinda feel you missed the point and didnt quite understand him at all.
So sorry you seemed to completely misunderstand Ove.
Terribly sorry that you didn't get Ove, but it was a beautiful story on love and forgiveness. I loved this book and it has given me more patience in those are hurting as every person has some hurt in their heart..
As my grandfather was like Ove, I really think you misread the man. Ove was singular in his duty to be useful. He was terse, but look at how many people he actually helped! And he did so because no matter what, Ove was a very good man.
