There is good stuff there to be sure, I would just be careful and examine every bit of wisdom gleamed carefully. A huge theme of the book and film is how these traditional ideas about masculinity can be toxic and literally can destroy a family it purports to protect. DM me if you would like me to elaborate on this as to give examples would obviously be full of spoilers.
